If you are looking for an extra special wedding venue in Surrey and West Sussex which is personal, has historic charm and is set in beautiful grounds then Ramster Hall is the perfect choice.
Once you arrive at Ramster Hall, the magnificence of the approach down the drive will impress wedding guests. With exclusive use of the wedding halls and courtyard which are yours for the day, you can have the wedding ceremony here or at one of our local churches and your wedding guests can enjoy the stunning surroundings for the duration of your wedding celebrations.
Civil ceremonies take place in the Great Drawing Room, a majestic room overlooking the courtyard which can be laid out in three ways to accomodate 160 guests. The Long Hall can seat 160 for a wedding breakfast, or up to 200 for a stand-up wedding reception. It is a magnificent beamed and paneled hall which is over 100 feet long and dates back to 1604. The vast inglenook fireplace, with a blazing log fire, gives a lovely warm welcome in the winter.
Ramster Hall works with the award-winning caterers and event planners, Jacaranda Catering. They have a wealth of experience in catering to suit all tastes and requirements. One of the best things clients say is that Ramster Hall doesn't charge corkage, a huge help for wedding budgets.
Ramster Hall is set within 20 acres of outstanding gardens. During the Spring the azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias and magnolias burst into colour. The gardens then sit back for a lazy summer letting roses and wild flowers take over with colour and heavenly scent. Autumn then arrives and the soft shades of summer are replaced with fiery hues of red and russet. Winter comes and guests gather around the roaring fires.
This much treasured wedding venue is part of a family home which has been passed down through four generations. Rosie now runs the weddings and would be delighted to provide more information about our wedding venue or the wedding services.
