The Great Drawing Room

The Great Drawing Room adjoins The Long Hall; and is licensed for civil marriages. This beautiful and friendly room can be arranged for any size of wedding up to 160 guests. Either in a traditional layout with an aisle or in a horse shoe shape round the huge fire place.

Every civil wedding ceremony is different, and is planned uniquely for the Bride and Groom, their family and friends. Music can be provided by our built in music system, or we can recommend someone to play the grand piano, string quartets

Once the ceremony is over this room remains yours for the day and can be used for your reception if you are unable to go outside and for a ‘quiet room’ during the evening’s entertainment.
