We are looking forward to welcoming you to Ramster as a guest and hope some information will answer any questions you have to ensure you have a great time here.

Ramster is our much loved family home, our uniqueness is dependant on that, so please enjoy and look after our lovely venue!  Sorry we don’t have any accommodation within the house, but we have lots of pubs with rooms, hotels and B&B’s locally, your host has access to our list of accommodation and they will put this in with your invitation.

The latest finish time is 12midnight and although we have plenty of local taxi firms we do recommend you book them in advance.

Present for bride and groom…?

We have produced some lovely watercolours showing the front of the house and the entrance to the Long Hall, they are A4 size and are available either just as the print £15.00, or a print mounted £25.00 or a print mounted and framed £45.00, we can even insert the name and date of the bride and groom into the mounted and framed picture.  Do email me if you would like me to send you some more details or reserve you one.

Contact on site

As Ramster is in a bit of a dip some phones don’t get good reception, if you need to be contacted during the function the number of the payphone in the lobby of the Hall is  01428 656209.

Directions

Ramster is on the A283 1.5miles south of Chiddingfold, please see our contact page for a map.  Sat Nav will take you down Killingshurst Lane, take no notice the entrance is off the main road.

A few requests!

Shoes

We have beautiful wooden floors in both the Great Drawing Room and Long Hall, so please no stilettos as they do tremendous damage, a heel with a width at the tip of over 1cm is fine if it has a plastic tip in good condition.

Confetti

Sorry confetti isn’t allowed here – the bride and groom are aware of this already!
