Civil Ceremony
Ramster Hall was one of the original private homes to be granted a licence for civil weddings in Surrey making us one of the most experienced venues for your civil ceremony.
Ramster Hall is a wonderful venue to use for your marriage with the adjoining Halls for the ceremony and celebrations, the private courtyard garden and our beautiful grounds and gardens for your wedding photos.
With changing rooms for the bride and groom you will have exclusive use of the Courtyard Garden, The Long Hall and the Great Drawing Room. You can also use the The Brick Hall (optional) as an alternative entrance for guests if required.
Wedding Ceremony
Connected to The Brick Hall entrance is the Great Drawing Room which is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. The beautiful room with grand inglenook fireplace and overlooking minstrels gallery can be arranged in a number of ways to suit your requirements. It can accomodate up to 130 seated guests.
After the ceremony, this room remains yours for the day and is ideal as a quiet room during the evenings entertainment in the adjoining The Long Hall
Evening Entertainment
Ideal for the wedding breakfast and dancing, The Long Hall can accommodate up to 160 seated guests. At one end of the hall we have a dance floor with a discreetly hidden disco. At the other end are the modern toilets and our kitchens.
Hire details
The three unique halls surround the enclosed courtyard garden for exclusive use.
Your hire costs will include:
- Hire of the Long Hall, Great Drawing Room, and Brick Hall if required
- The use of the Private Enclosed Courtyard Garden
- Private room for Bride and Groom interviews
- Table and Chairs for up to 130 wedding guests (more can be hired if required)
- Dance Floor and the use of the Minstrels Gallery
